BEN DUOC - CU CHI TUNNEL HISTORICAL SITE

1. Visit Si Ben Duoc Memorial Temple (visiting time is about 20 minutes)

On the famous land of Cu Chi Tunnels in the past, during the American war, and right in the heart of the "Iron Triangle" that once resounded with bombs and bullets, today, the Party Committee and people of Ho Chi Minh City have built a project: BEN DUOC MARTYRS MEMORIAL TEMPLE. The temple was built to commemorate the great contributions of the people and soldiers who fought and sacrificed in the land of Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh in the two resistance wars against the French and American invaders. It is a project for future generations to remember, be grateful and proud of.

2. Visit the tunnels (visit time about 1 hour 30 minutes)

The Cu Chi Tunnels have entered the history of the heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people as a legend of the 20th century and become a famous place in the world. This is a unique and unparalleled wonder of war with about 250 km of tunnels spreading like a spider web underground, with works connected to the tunnels such as: trenches, mounds, fighting nests, eating, sleeping, meeting, living, medical, food storage, and water wells.

3. Cultural space area and President Ho Chi Minh statue

The cultural space and President Ho Chi Minh Monument were built in the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Relic Site, in a solemn and convenient location, for people across the country as well as international friends to visit, study and organize flower and incense offering ceremonies.

4. Visit the Cu Chi Liberated Zone Reenactment Site (1960 - 1975) (visit time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes)

It is a place to show the living and fighting scenes of Cu Chi people before and during the resistance war against the US. The project is divided into many areas such as: White area, liberated area, disputed area, temporarily occupied area (strategic hamlet), ... vividly showing the village scenery of Cu Chi before the war with lush fruit trees, heavy fruit all year round; the scene of destruction by American bombs; showing the scene of young men and women eagerly joining the army to fight the enemy ...

In particular, here, visitors will learn about the Cedarfalls sweep that the US military carried out in the Iron Triangle, which was very fierce and lasted for many days and nights. The sweep is shown on a diorama.

The most modern in Vietnam with the combination of sound, light and mechanical movement of the models and the harmonious arrangement of fire and smoke will bring visitors vivid moments as if they were immersed in the battle against the invaders. In addition, visitors can also enjoy 3D movies, this is the first 3D cinema in Ho Chi Minh City with an extremely modern sound and light system, a 240-degree curved screen, along with 3D image effects and stereo sound, making the audience feel like they are standing in the middle of the real space that the film describes, creating a very realistic feeling.

* Experience rice planting and fishing model

When visitors come to the rice planting model at the historical site of Cu Chi Tunnels, visitors will be able to separate the young seedlings and plant them in the prepared fields by themselves, a new and exciting feeling, the feeling of planting rice by themselves. Through the fishing model at Cu Chi Tunnels, the image of catching fish is reproduced most clearly and realistically through the main image. Visitors will experience the feeling of catching fish with bare hands, with a trap, finding, groping and catching fish in the fields by themselves, the feeling of walking barefoot into the fields is very strange, finding fish in the muddy fields will make visitors very excited and more special when catching fish by themselves.
